WIN-PAK systems are workhorses. The panels and readers on your walls will keep doing their job for years. What has aged is everything around them: a workstation in a back office, no phone access, no way to lock a door from the parking lot, and no simple way for a manager to add a badge without calling IT or an integrator.
The usual answer is rip-and-replace: new panels, new readers, new cards, everyone re-enrolled, and a project measured in months. That is a lot of money to spend replacing hardware that isn't broken.
We built a third option. Our cloud platform connects to the WIN-PAK system you already have and gives your team a modern web and phone experience, while WIN-PAK and your existing hardware keep running underneath. It comes from the same team that manages access control for one of Alabama's largest counties and for a healthcare network with more than 70 locations.

A small bridge service is installed alongside your WIN-PAK server. It connects outbound to the 10x cloud, so there are no inbound firewall rules to open and no VPN to maintain.
Your team signs in from a browser or phone. WIN-PAK keeps running as your system of record, and your panels, readers, and cards stay exactly where they are.

No. That is the point of modernization. Your existing panels, readers, wiring, and cards stay in place. Our platform works through WIN-PAK itself, so the hardware WIN-PAK already manages keeps doing its job.
Yes. WIN-PAK remains your system of record. People, cards, and access levels you change in our platform are written to WIN-PAK, and your WIN-PAK workstation keeps working the way it always has.
It depends on your edition, version, and how your server is set up, so we confirm compatibility during a free assessment before you commit to anything. If you are on WIN-PAK 4.8 or earlier, keep in mind that Honeywell technical support for those versions has expired, and we can help you plan an upgrade alongside modernization.
Not for the current release. According to Honeywell's WIN-PAK Technical Support Lifecycle notice (posted February 4, 2025), technical support for WIN-PAK 4.8 through 4.8.5 expired on January 1, 2026, and versions 4.7 and earlier expired before that. WIN-PAK 4.9 is Honeywell's current release.
